Q&A: STUDENT LOAN CONSOLIDATION – IF BOTH SPOUSES HAVE $80K+?
May 20th
Question by me:
Student Loan Consolidation – if both spouses have K+?
OK so I asked about the 20% plan and because we both have large loans, the only option is to pay 40% of our income for 30 years. (20% of our combined income twice). I argued, talked to supervisors, but that is the ideal deal they can give us. Regular payments would be $ 3K/month, which is more than we make. We were both low-income children who thought going to college was a good idea, now we will never get out from under. It seems so absolutely hopeless so any ideas would be helpful.

My fiance and I are trying to purchase a townhouse. instead of paying 800 a month for an apartment we would rather put that money towards us owning something! Im entering the Nursing program at our local community college, will I still be able to get a student loan to cover a home payment? Or do they only cover rent?

May 19th
Question by raven:
What will happen if my credit score drops and I have a automobile loan?
I have one credit card that I charged up extremely high, and have since shut the account and I am working to pay it pack. However, I also currently I have an auto loan that I am getting stressed out about because I am worried that if they check my credit score, they will want me to pay the entire loan now. What can they do if they check the score? (The payments on the automobile are up to date.) What can I do?

IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO BUILD CREDIT USING A CAR LOAN?
May 16th
Question by :
Is it a good idea to build credit using a automobile loan?
I’m planning to purchase a automobile soon and currently have no credit history, so I am debating taking out a loan (I have my parents to co-sign for the loan) to build up some good credit. Do you think this is a good idea or should I just pay off the automobile and use another method to build up my credit?
