WHEN YOU QUALIFY FOR A HOME LOAN, CAN YOU TAKE OUT CREDIT AFTER WITHOUT IT COUNTING AGAINST YOU?
Jan 3rd
Question by BlackDahlia:
When you qualify for a home loan, can you take out credit after without it counting against you?
Or do they re-check before everything finalizes?
I’m contemplating buying a home with my husband and we might need cash on hand for closing costs, appraisals, etc, and we were wondering if we can get qualified for the home, begin to get it, and then if we need to put stuff on the credit card if we can? Or would it be superior to just get a cash advance from my line FIRST, thus lowering the original amount of money we qualify for with the loan. Thanks.
