DOES A 4.9% CREDIT CARD LOAN BEAT A 9.2% HOME EQUITY LOAN IN TERMS OF MONEY SAVINGS AND TAX BENEFITS?
Jan 27th
Question by froalskiner:
Does a 4.9% credit card loan beat a 9.2% home equity loan in terms of money savings and tax benefits?
I want to take out a $ 10,000 loan and I want to see if the credit card deal is superior for overall savings. It’s a lower rate than the home equity loan, but will the higher APR of the Home Equity loan paired with the tax breaks be superior than a lower credit card(i.e. non-deductible interest) loan?
The rate is for the life time of the balance until paid off. It is primarily for balance transfers but the money can be used in any way I’d like.

HOW HARD IS TO GET A THOUSAND DOLLAR CAR LOAN?
Jan 26th
Question by Drew N:
how hard is to get a thousand dollar automobile loan?
I just turned 18 and I am wondering how hard would it be to get a thousand dollar automobile loan from the bank. I currently make 1k a month. Before I get answers that tell me to purchase the automobile in cash instead of getting a loan I would rather build my credit up.
Which credit cards would you recommend? And it would be hard to get a loan even from my own bank? I bank with Chase if that makes a difference.

Question by Brittany:
Whats the difference between the payoff amount and principle amount on a automobile loan?
On my automobile loan statement is states that the principle amount is 18,100 and states “this is not the payoff amount, to get the pay off amount, call customer service”. But when I called and asked them for the pay off amount they stated 18,300. I do not understand, is not the pay off amount supposed to be LOWER than the principle amount???? Help please :/
